Vintage Bags!! Here is a picture of my first vintage handbag......just check out the lovely detail in the handbag frame and handle. This is hopefully the first of many. I have a busy weekend ahead, three party bookings, so there will be lots of bead making and chatting going on for me.

Anyone celebrating Valentines day this year will love these new handbags!! I have just been to a machine embroidery class, Oh wow I love machine embroidery, if you have never tried it, DO. Let the sewing machine run away with you and create some fab patterns. I must get some Angelina Fibre, which is glitzy and can add va va voom to any pattern. Hopefully one day I will be able to make something for the bags.

I am loving the lovely Parisian Chic fabric used in my new romantic bag. With love heart lace running across the top, this is definately one of my favourites. I have just ordered a beautiful handbag frame which is very vintage and I am going to make a gorgeous romantic bag. It wont be here for a couple of weeks but you will be the first to know when the bag is birthed!! I am particularly excited about my first Arts and Craft Market coming up on the 19th February.......this is when I will launch the new handbag range, fingers crossed the public love them too.

Idid not get chance to have the January blues this month. Why? Well I have been very busy making my new handbag range, which I am very pleased with. My family though have had to be bored to death with bag talk and the trusty sewing machine whirling 12 hours a day. When you have a house full of boys they don't really appreciate the value of a handbag. However they have grunted their approval on several occasions. I think the dog is a little put out that my new best friend is a sewing machine! |

It is lined with rose bud fabric The dots and flowers fabric, is also by Amy Butler, it is lined with a vibrant stripey fabric and embellished with buttons. "Kiss me love owls" is the name of this fabric used on this gorgeous girly bag. |
